DVO - 2 clouds range sensor |
|
The clouds range sensor DVO - 2 is a pulse range finder intended to measure a distance to a lower level of clouds above the place where a receiver and a transmitter have been installed, to process automatically the results measured and to transmit an output signal for recording and displaying on a control panel. It can be used as an independent device or as a part of automatic meteorological stations. | general specifications | | measurement range | m | 30-2000 | | maximum measurement error over range of | 15m - 150m | m | +/- 10 | | 15m - 150m | % | +/- 7 | | output signal mode for measuring unit | - | four-digit decimal code from 15 to 1000 in steps of 5 | | - | direct voltage in measurement range from 0 to 10V | | maching parameteres of measurement unit with external control and display units | digit output* | - | double-wire communication line with single-polarity signal s and rated current of 20 ± 5 mA of 8km long | | analogue output | - | output resistance Kout = 1kOm ± 10% | | sensor measuring mode | - | continuous | | frequency of clouds probing with light pulse | Hz | 1 | | measurement results indication on measuring unit and remote-control station | - | digit | | supply voltage | V | 220 ± 10% | | power consumption, not more than | without heating | VA | 80 | | with heating | VA | 130 | * - sensor digital output ensures both remote measurement and remote control Measurement results processing includes: - averaging of 8 measured values
- exclusion of the cases of short-term loss of reflected signal from measured values (gap in clouds)
- clouds absence signal generation if from 15 observations less than 8 are significant ones
- exclusion of false reflected signals (permanent echo)
